No alerts for 5 minutes after last alert

First of all, thank you for a great product.
Second, sorry for my English, it’s not even my second language :slight_smile:

Now, let’s head to the main part.

I don’t know if it’s a bug or a feature, but my v2 camera doesn’t record any videos (and no alerts off course) if the last alert happened less than 5 minutes ago.
Sometimes it’s 4 minutest, but usually a little more. My first alert I receive almost immediately and video can be viewed in less than a minute after event occurred.

I’ve tested it several times this way: camera was pointed to the door and I was entering and leaving the room every minute, only the motion detection was on (75-100% motion detection sensitivity).
It was during daylight, lighting was good, camera was tested on latest beta app yesterday and on a stable release today, no SD card.

Tell me please if it’s a feature or this can/will be fixed.

This is by design. In order to provide free cloud storage of alert clips, Wyze limits the frequency to one every five minutes.

You can install a microSD card in the camera and it will record motion continuously for as long as the motion exists.
