My night vision is set to on, but night vision is not working in dark conditions; do I need to get a different camera?
Can you clarify what isn’t working? Is it totally black at night? Do you have the IR LEDs enabled?
Do you mean “color night vision”? If so, you have to set that to “off”. Wyze has a weird way of naming things. But there should be some ambient light for it to work.
Does the v2 even support “color night vision”? Also there is no setting on any of mine for color night vision, it depends on what you’ve set night mode to.
Night mode on = “color night vision” off
Night mode off = “color night vision” on
I missed that one. In fact, I have a V2 mounted side by side a V3 specifically aimed at a spot where bright lights ruin the V3’s color night vision.

Yeah I see in the specs it supports it. But still need clarification from OP.
Off = “color night vision” if there is enough ambient light
Auto = will switch back and forth depending on ambient light
On = No color night vision, forced to infrared
IR lights should be on in most cases (only used when it is in night mode, either auto or forced on).
sweenster If you toggle the nigh vision on/off you should hear a click from the camera. That is the IR filter moving into place. If the IR filter is in place, everything will look a bit purple (in daylight), B&W at night. That solenoid may have stuck.
