Please make a recessed can light camera:)!!!
It’s like a standard 6” inch can light but has the 360 camera in the center and an LED color 360 ring light around the camera.
Make it indoor and outdoor rated so you can use it inside or outside.
It should just screw into existing can sockets too….
Based on a post here recently, Wyze is working on a camera that fits in a standard light bulb base. Whether it will work well in a recessed light will depending on the depth of the recessed can I suppose.
I just saw that new one for standard socket lights, but I want one that looks like a true recessed light. If it was outside, the interior can light would be exposed.
So like a BR40-style form factor with a downward-looking fisheye camera in the middle and surrounded by a ring of RGB/RGBW/RGBWW/etc. LEDs? That could be interesting….

I don’t recall seeing a suggestion there—or a separate Wishlist topic—about combining such a light with a camera, though.

Ah, okay. I see that that one is able to work within a can housing. When you mentioned “recessed can light” and “screw into existing can sockets” in your initial post, I thought you were talking about bulbs in the style of BR30/38/40 form factors without external wires connecting the E26 base to the lamp, like it’d be all one solid screw-in unit.
Either way, it’d be cool.
