I think I am kind of in the same situation are you regarding the headlights.
If a car exits the side street onto the road in front of our home,. it would hit the OG cam with direct headlights..
Outside of that, the cars going up/down our street, do not directly point their headlights into the cam, so it is not too bad in that regard.
I have reached a point I have shut off all my alerting. It was just stressing me out…I figure if something happens, it will be on video.
The front of our home there is a lot of foot traffic, and vehicle traffic, I tried leaving the Alerts active for a while after initially installing the front cams years ago, but it was too annoying with all the alerts…One cam, recorded/identified over 300 people passing the front of our home, other days, in the high 200’s…This was about 2-3 years ago. Since ICE, is now going after the boatload of illegal immigrants in our town, is has dropped SUBSTANTIALLY…Thankfully…I installed the Wyze Cams mainly because of all the issues we have had with illegal immigrants ( directly and indirectly) from trying to open our front door drunk at 11PM at night ( happened 2x, 2 different migrants), to finding one sleeping in our yard (drunk) at 9:00 am in the morning, To finding a large slab of still packaged Deli meat probably worth about $120 or more that was dropped behind our planter, in front of our home, and it was most likely stolen front deli inside the supermarket a block away…
So I am thankful for the Wyze cams, and being reasonable in price, but the Alerting can become overwhelming in high traffic areas.
