as the lawn looks MUCH better through the Old OG cams, then it actually is

Same for mine on OG vs v4 (the oversaturation is even more evident in the first post of that thread at night). Although I think my OG is actually closer to reality in the daytime comparison than the v4.

Day time comparison. Note I tried to take the same time of day on both, but obviously there are some differences with the car not being there on the OG. This time of year the sun angle also varies by the minute so it may not be a perfect apples-to-apples. The v4 does show more detail in the grass/leaves etc. Colors are more vivid which may or may not be “accurate”. The sun seems to affect the v4 with a bit more glare but nothing terrible. but the alternative works and saves spending more money

Keep an eye out around black friday through xmas, usually some good deals, could give the v4 a shot or one of the others (if you decide you still want a new cam and/or depending how you like the images in the post above). The v4 has definitely been sharper images for me even if the colors are more muted than the OG.
