Well feed already… geez… free food and you keep looking around, like “where’s the catch?”

Cool video, thanks for sharing.

Now if I could just figure out how to keep the squirrels out of the feeder. :joy:

Throw some shelled peanuts all over the yard. I feed the rats with furry tails acorns I found and collected late last year and earlier this year. I put out both peanuts and acorns but they take the acorns first.

My yard is full of Acorns (that’s an oak tree). Our entire street is all oak. We have more squirrels than I can shake a stick at. :joy: :joy:

I had actually started to wire up an electric current to a bird feeder. I was going to have a switch connected to a wire that I could flip if I saw a squirrel on it. My wife wouldn’t let me finish. She’s my ex-wife now.

Try a different type of feeder

Lol that’s hilarious! I bought this feeder specifically so my cats could watch from the window. :joy: :joy: The plan is to have more feeders in the yard or on a pole… But for now this is what I’ve got. I might remove the screen from the window so the squirrels can’t use it to climb over to the feeder. (the feeder is a window feeder that attaches via suction cups to the window).

I almost bought one until I saw the price! :astonished:

Today we had a cardinal visit, followed shortly by another bird.
