I’m in the process of setting up a new router. While some things have gone smoothly (and others less so), my attempts at getting the door bell to shift has met with an obstacle: How do I get it to recognize the new router?
Maybe it’s just me, but I haven’t found a way to change router on my app.
Go through the initial setup process again but this time use the new ssid and password. There is no way to set up new router info information in app. Another thing is to use the same and ssid and password with the new router so that your already setup devices connect automatically to the new router.
I don’t know what I’m missing here; I uninstalled the app, waited, then re-installed.
After signing in, it just took me back to where I’ve been.
Must I set up a new account?
Setup the doorbell again, do the initial install all over. No need to make a new account or reinstall the app for this.
