Just curious when you painted it. Did any paint get inside the unit around the knob or did you tape it off somehow. Just wanted to check if you did it all at once or the cover separately. There’s no turning back once I do it so ?
Ion mine, I took the cover off and put painters tape on the inside and under the locking knob. Worked perfectly.
I was able to trim the tape by following the inside edge with a sharp razor blade.
