I have a V2 camera mounted about a foot above a door. I wanted to make it more secure without enclosing it in a plastic box. I did not want to drill through the center of the base because of the magnet; so, holes were drilled through the edge of the base. The base is hollow, so epoxy was forced into it through the drilled holes to strengthen it. The top and base were taped together to make it act as a unit. See pictures for more information.
