Similar to Bluestacks, you can research and use an app called Memu Play (The link to the app is: https://www.memuplay.com/) It is an Android emulator for the PC.
Yep… Bluestacks … it really doesn’t get easier for desktop access to cameras other than a native desktop app… free too
Yes, Bluestack was a great idea. I’d forgot I had it already installed. Great app for phone simulation. It’s up and running. Thanks
I will try Bluestacks all others not working. If possible can anyone give me step by step instructions on using bluestacks4 to view my wyze cams on my pc.
I wanted to thank you for mentioning scrcpy. This is just the type program I had been looking for (and for more than just the Wyze app).
Great find. Does anybody know if this is a safe app? I am always leery of “free” apps. How do they make there money to develop and support the app?
Bluestacks is safe
Okay. i have downloaded Bluestacks. I thank you so much for the youtube video on that. now i need to know how by using Bluestacks to view my wyze cams. How do i get wyze to work using Bluestacks.
In bluestacks go to the play store just like you would on a android phone and downloaded wyzecam app. Then login to your account in the wyzecam app.
I use Scrcpy with my old phone so I have like a mini computer within my computer. Checking the wyze app is one of the many things I use it for .
Which app specifically are you referring to?
If you mean scrcpy, it is open source, so anyone can see what the code is. It appears to be an offshoot or derivative of their commercial Genymotion Cloud and Desktop products, which bring in the funds (although they also have a free version of Genymotion Desktop, their Android emulator).
Thanks, good info and my phone is not supported. That explains a lot.
Hey, how do you set it up to view all your cameras at once? Also, does your screen ever black out after a few minutes?
