I suggest you offer a simple, weatherproof micro USB to USB-C adapter. For example, I have a Wyze Cam Pan V3 outside with a long cord that would be very inconvenient to replace, and an adapter would let me easily resuse it with the Wyze Cam Pan V4. This would also encourage me to buy the Wyze Cam Pan V4 to replace my outdoor one.
Readably available on Amazon - among other sources.
It is more challenging with the Pan cams since they use an L shaped plug. But you should be able to use the included L plug with any micro to C adapter from amazon like @K6CCC mentioned. I’d recommend using a bit of silicone grease on the rubber mating parts and maybe even taping the whole thing with sealing tape just to ensure it is waterproof.
You might even be able to find an adapter that is also an L shaped plug but that’s going to be a bit harder, especially since it has to be shaped pretty specifically to fit into the cam.
What for? Are you trying to reuse the pan cam V3 cable for the pan V4? Why not use pan cam V4’s USB cable and power adapter?
Most likely he mounted the cable already to keep it nice and clean. Don’t want to redo everything.
