Lost all ability to play back video on v2 and flood light cameras

Why can’t I play back my video from the cameras I used to be able to play a 12 sec video.

The free 12 second videos went away a couple of years ago. If you had Cam Plus Lite and were getting the 12 Second videos maybe the 3.0 and higher app caused an issue, the are a few post about that here someplace.
Which version of the app are you using?

4.48.4.427 is the version I have showing in the camera. The V2 one.

That is the Firmware version for the WYZE Cam Outdoor Version 2.
I was asking what version iOS app are using. You can find it on your phone/device by going to account > go down to the bottom off the page and tap about.
Do you have the Cam Plus Lite subscription ?


3.2.6 (1) is what I have on mine. I did have the light subscription but how do I check that on the program?

The only thing I know is if you go to https://my.wyze.com/ and log in to your Account and check Services to see if you still have Cam Plus Lite. I have Cam Unlimited but my account says I still have Cam Plus Lite also that I got a long time ago. I’ll try to find someone to help you out since I do not have that issue but others do. Hang tight, help should be on the way.

I found on my account all my cameras were unselected so I just had to select 6 of them but the lite won’t work on my motion detection lights for some reason. Thank you for the help we will see how we look in the future.

Your floodlights are not compatible with CP Lite

It has been my observation that Wyze is trying to overcompensate, none of the other IoT manufacturers pump up firmware and app updates as often as Wyze does. I guess they don’t know what KISS means :slight_smile:

Kiss is one reason I liked wyze but now the 6 cameras are working the 3 motion lights are not even recording or coming on when they detect motion. I have check and triple checked all my settings and nothing is different. I used to be able to watch video but I am not even getting pictures on them. This is very frustrating to have to fix something every time there is an update.

I hear you loud and clear my friend, unfortunately I only have v3 and v4 cameras so I don’t think I can help you with any other Wyze gear. I stay away from anything Wyze except cams.
