Is anyone else having issues–just had two updates to Wyze firmware, and now it appears that the link to Alexa is broken. I had an Alexa routine to notify me on my Alexa devices when my outdoor cam detected motion. It worked (more or less–multiple notifications and lag times), but now it is not working. I am still getting motion notifications on my phone (android). Also my phone’s Alexa app cannot see any of the Wyze camera images (I know it doesn’t work with the outdoor cam). Suggestions??? I have disabled and then enabled the Wyze skill in Alexa.
Have you tried asking Alexa to “discover devices”?
You may also have to try editing your routine and selecting the outdoor camera as the trigger again.

I like @Brlepage’s idea. If that does not work, unlink Wyze from Alexa and link it back. Sort of like a reboot.

I gave up on trying to fix this after trying everything imaginable. Then, about a week ago (mid-August), everything started working again. I did nothing to fix it. So either Amazon updated a bug or Wyze updated a bug, but all is working again. The delay from motion to alert varies from a couple seconds to several minutes–just like before.
