Lincoln in what state?

NEVER Open the door or talk to the police. They show up without a warrant, they are depending on your to give them enough evidence to arrest you. If the cops don’t have something on you, they are working to have something on you. Remember the old proverb. No body talks, every body walks.

Not a Wyze camera story, but a how law enforcement got me out of jury duty story. I know you are interested now.

About 15 years ago my wife was T-Boned on her driver side door by a big pickup two blocks from my house. Residential neighborhood four way intersection with No stop signs.

I asked the officer what happened? He said "hard to tell. It could have been my wife’s fault or the big truck’s fault.

Being T-Boned on the driver side door means my wife was in the intersection first.

A few months later i was summoned to jury duty. I was in a jury pool for a traffic case. I told the judge about my wife’s accident.

I explained the big truck driver admitted fault, his insurance company accepted full liability but the officer on scene could not figure out what happened.

I stated maybe the officer was telling me a little lie to keep me calm ,but we don’t want to go down that road of a officer telling a lie.

I told the judge police officers do the best job they can but are human and can make mistakes.

When i was finished with my story everybody’s jaw in the courtroom was open. After hearing my story, you can see why I was Not selected to be on that jury.

Welcome to the forum @nayzway100! Also, thank your son for his service. Being a cop is a tough and often thankless job.
