Nighttime
In each screenshot the top image (black Explorer) is a Cam v4, the middle image (front yard) is the Pan v1, and the bottom image (side driveway) is a Cam v3. The cameras are each in exactly the same positions for all three screenshots.
The night imagery on the Pan-v1 doesn’t get any better or worse regardless of the night vision setting. Maybe I’m losing my mind (what little I have left) but I don’t remember it being quite that poor until lately.
I don’t believe the Panv1 has a starlight sensor (color night vision) so it will use IR at night and be black and white. Your other two cams support the color night vision mode (which is basically night mode=off).
If you cycle night=on on one of the other two cams, it should look pretty similar to the Panv1.
Though it looks like your IR lights may not be working on the Pan anymore - google tells me they are automatic and can’t be turned on/off manually but that may be incorrect.
Another thought is that the IR filter may not be sliding into place, and I believe that may be what causes the IR lights to turn on. But if it wasn’t moving into place I’d sort of expect those night images to be worse. Maybe it just isn’t sliding all the way.
You can try “exercising” it by turning night mode on and off several times, do it while near the camera to see if you hear the click of the filter moving. Some have also had luck using a strong magnet to get the filter unstuck in some cams, as it is controlled by an electromagnet.
