Is there a way to make my wyze switch smarter?

In particular, I would like the switch to know that I turned it on manually so that it can ignore any motion-related rules to turn it off. So if I turn the porch light on and subsequently get a motion event, the rule for that motion event will turn the light on and then turn it off in a few minutes. I want the switch to ignore the off command if I’ve turned it on manually.

Is there some combination of rules, multiple taps, external software that would accomplish this? I see that some people use a plug to act as a boolean state variable, but the only conditional I see is based on time,

Just part of my ongoing quest to make this million dollar 21st century wyze system perform as well as my $20 1980’s x10 system.
