Is the 24pa cordless vacuum discontinued? Was it a better model than the 20pa "S"?

I am thinking about buying the cordless vacuum, light vacuuming every couple of weeks of one just a few 100 square feet. I keep reading the S is the newer version and that the other model was more powerful. ? Was the other one better? or …
