Yup. Working on getting that fixed now.
I didn’t know this long thread was already talking about the humm dinger issue. I thought this was just a new product thread.
The faint ding, the ghostly dinger thing happened to me yesterday when it was stormy outside. It was weird. Sudden and I thought I may have brushed up against the button. Which could be a little more clicky, or stout, in my opinion. It seems too delicate to be a 'used and abused 'doorbell button. ![]()
That is almost identical to how mine looks! Very simple and clean.
I asked awhile back if these important ‘hidden’ buttons could be moved to the prominent menu for the Floodlight Cam Pro, for example. The floodlight activation button is hidden instead of being easily accessible when you need to kick on the lights real quick. A little annoying when you hear something in the backyard but struggle to get the lights turned on in time. I see they hid more buttons on the DCD. ![]()
Is the consensus when using the door chime controller wired to a mechanical chime that the mechanical chime setting works the best for a clean ding-dong sound, or do some find the digital setting works better?
