I have the Cam Pan 2. I know it’s not an outdoor camera. Would it work if mounted it up under the porch roof (marked with the red arrows) where it wouldn’t be exposed to the elements or would any moisture or humidity ruin it?

yep. looks okay. many of us have these cams even more exposed to the elements.

Can these be installed upside down? Does the app allow you to re-orient it upright?
Yes…there is a setting for the camera that allows you to mount them upside down.
