Anyone else try to chat with wyze for help and cant because their “opt out signal honored” message blocks out the chat line. How insanely dumb

Thank you for mentioning this and posting a screenshot. I’ve pinged someone at Wyze to let them know that this is another area where this widget is causing usability issues.
It is possible to filter the widget using Mozilla Firefox on Android with the uBlock Origin extension installed, but I wouldn’t expect everyone to do this, and it shouldn’t be necessary if Wyze would be more mindful about usability and accessibility when implementing things like this widget for compliance. Several Forum users have commented about how inconvenient and disruptive this widget can be (there’s more discussion in the topic I linked above), but we don’t know if or when Wyze might make any changes related to the way they’ve implemented it. Your topic gave me another reason to ping someone and request more information.
