If I remember correctly, this isn’t the first time Wyze has had this problem. Not too long ago weren’t some people able to see other people’s cameras through Web View?

Realistically
Wyze Should STOP ALL development
of the Web Viewew and terminate it completely

They are inviting the hacker community
to take the bait

as the Web is the easy part/sector to hack.

Installable Wyze App is propriatary LOT less risk of being hacked

The Web is not!
Lots more hacking tools available to hack web sites

Yes, I will do that

When I heard about Wyze developing a Web interface to access
My first thought is, it is only a matter of time before their systems are hit, and customers cameras are accessed.

The other problem this brings to the table, for Wyze
Is lawsuits.

They are opening Pandora’s Box
by developing a Web Viewer interface.

My indoor cams are all Pan V3 so I can see when they are in privacy mode and make sure no one is snooping. My outdoor cams are regular ones and I couldn’t care less about because they all face public areas anyway.

Mine went further by giving me access to the whole clip. I regretfully didn’t try the live view, so who knows if that would have worked, too.
