So it sounds like I have the same setup as you. That makes me think there is something still wrong then because I can’t connect to my router downstairs with same SSID and pw. At least I have more to go on and can use some of the bulbs upstairs for now.
It sounds like your issue may be slightly different from mine. I had the time-out issue on all 4 of my bulbs when i attempted to configure them. I tried changing all of the settings in my phone that were suggested with no luck. Just before i gave up i decided to stop using my phone (galaxy S8) and try my Wife’s phone (pixel 2 i believe). I downloaded the app and all of the bulbs configured correctly on the first try. I do not know if the issue was with my phone or if i should have uninstalled and re-installed the app… but they work great now. Hope this helps.
I think many of us have been in this situation where we try many things just to get something working and miss a simple piece of the puzzle.

Yes. I’m all in on the Wyze gear. 3 V2s, a sense kit, 4 bulbs and 2 wyze plugs on order. I really wanted these to work. So now I’ll find out why I cant connect to the router with same SSID and pw.

Did you get a special deal or something? My beta agreement says a minimum of 5 times the frustration. But of course that is the fun part!
Now that I got everything working I don’t want to screw it up. Can I BETA with just one camera or something to minimize damage? To be honest, I don’t really have the time to dedicate to this. At least you get the free t-shirt and 25% off new products.
You can try, but with the rapidity that Wyze puts out products it can be difficult. I’ve tried to keep different setups, Regular production, Beta, Beta/RTSP, Beta with Sense, etc.

When I set mine up in a 4 bulb fixture, I put one in at a time twisted the bulb in and out 3 time to sync. Then I grouped them as one. Made shortcuts for the group.
Have been a beta tester for Sonos and you have to be dedicated to the product and have time to burn…I’ve since quit since I can’t dedicate the time and that’s not fair . Hay didn’t get a T-shirt either, just the satisfaction of finding the bugs before any one else did.
I have never owned a Sonos product but have heard primarily good things about the company and it’s products.
