Yikes! I saw the footage of your skidding Cam v3. The wind hit 93 mph two weeks ago in a town near where I used to live. 
I can identify with this, too. When I first had that available, I enabled it in my Account Preferences, because it seemed like a cool achievement and I was pleased with it, but then I turned it off after a while. I also generally don’t feel a need to draw attention to myself.
When I was invited to become a Maven, the Moderators team seemed like having the appropriate Title and Flair on my profile was important, and I get that. For something like that, I leave it visible and in place for a few reasons:
- It was an honor to be invited to join the team.
- I feel like leaving it visible on my profile is a way to show respect to other volunteers for allowing me to participate.
- I think it shows that Wyze respects me enough to ask me to help out within the community.
- It hopefully signals to others within the Forum that I’ve earned some trust and can maybe be useful.
If it wasn’t for that, then I’d probably choose not to display it, though the badges can be kind of fun, especially for users with playful and/or competitive natures, which is why I’ve designed a few.[1][2]
