I have Wyze Person Detection back on my three cameras after being without it for awhile. My sister, who just purchased a Wyze cam, does NOT have that option to include it in her Sound and Motion notifications. Any idea why a new customer does not have Person Detection? Thank you.
Person detection is being rolled out slowly to existing users. If you have not updated your camera firmware you may even still have the discontinued XNOR version.
Once the new Wyze person Detection has been fully rolled out then new users will receive it right away.
Okay thanks. But I’m curious … I have Person detection as I mentioned, but how do they determine a ‘new user’?
