Can someone tell me what kind of animal this is?
I’ve seen plenty of rabbits and squirrels and even a coyote once, but never seen this before.
Kudos to Wyze for successfully identifying this as “Pet”.

Looks like a small groundhog to me.
Pretty sure.
I think groundhog also. I’ve been teaching the WYZE AI, anything with four legs is a PET to me and I report it as such.
How about a rabbit and a coyote.
I’m still waiting for my cams to capture something like this. I know my neighbor’s cat regularly brings home (dead) rabbits, but still haven’t seen it in action yet.
I started tagging birds as Pets too, but am not sure if that’s going a bit far…
Well the Chicken lady @AnnWithAPlan has chicken pets and @TomG is the Bluebird man so I wouldn’t say it is a bit to far yet. I just stick to the possums, raccoons, skunks and cats. I’m mad at birds because they play in the critter drinking water bowl all the time.
I grew up on a farm. The proper name for those animals is “Targets”!
Highly destructive groundhogs… aka Woodchucks, Land Beavers, or my Dad’s favorite while lining up the crosshairs @ 300+ yards, $#!@ Whistle Pigs!
That is one of my Opossum friends and she goes by the name of Francisca Josepha .
Thanks @Antonius! I think this is her stopping by again this morning. Interestingly the V3 can never quite identify her as Pet. I think her fur color is way too close to the pavers.
My Version one WCO critter cam which is on Cam Plus Lite sometimes identifies the possums and s as people because that is the only choice it has besides motion. My V3 Pro will identify all the critters as Pet since I think I have overloaded the WYZE server with possum, cat and raccoon videos.
Anyone want extra rabbits at your house?
A fox family would take care that problem in short order.
This could be a marmot depending on where you live. I’ve only seen them in the wild sunning themselves on rocks.
I had to look up marmot… I’m in MA so probably not?
I’m still surprised I haven’t seen a single raccoon yet.
If you want some s I can share. There is an entire gang that lives in the storm drain across the street from the front of my house. They have been coming out of there since 1986 when I moved here. They really like marshmallows
Given how they (or rats) tore a hole through my heavy duty trash can lid when I lived in the city, I’d say, probably not.
