Antonious will like this. My poor rodent patrol (feral cats/mouse control) went hungry last night after these two showed up.
One masked bandit tried to steal the whole tray before it dumped?
Yep! Greedy! I had a mom bring her six babies last year, but she wouldn’t let a single one near the food. It was mayhem that night!
Here are some short clips of the animals my Wyze camera captured on 4/28.
Busy night! Was the last one a rabbit?
Yes, rabbits seem to like my yard/
Oh WOW! Ya think?
My gang has been showing up two at a time. I had a pair show up this morning at 00:06 AM and the next pair at 02:41 AM. Last May I had a Mom, Dad and their frisky five children show up on numerous occasions. I haven’t seen any adults with their new crop yet this year.
I’ve only seen one come around a couple times the last two months, but this is the first pair so far this year. I love watching them, but not real happy when 7 or 8 of them come onto the porch!!! Cat food is spendy enough!
Last year a Mom and six little ones came around a for a bit. I’m thinking my place is a last ditch when the getting isn’t good elsewhere.
I had two groups of five show up in 2023 a few minutes apart in my East yard, I thought there was something wrong with the event recordings. . I went back and looked at a different cam and saw they arrived at the same entrance from different directions, one group from the South and the others came down the street from the East.
We used to have deer, opossums, groundhogs, squirrels, raccoons, and probably more.
For the past few months, Wile E. has been patrolling the forest and field behind my home.
He/she/they/them/it might be the reason for the depopulation.
This is a v4 in a weather resistant box powered by a 32000 mAh power bank, The coyote is about 15 feet from the camera and about 45 feet from our back door. We have a dog door that gets blocked at night just in case. (Wouldn’t that be exciting - a coyote loose in the house. Wonder if that would be better than a deer loose in the house). We did have a bird in the house years ago. That was fun.
I think a in the house would be more fun.
I had a fly in one night when I opened my sliding door. I bounced him off of five different walls with a broom until I knocked him down long enough to sweep him out the door. My brother said I wasted energy, he said just throw a towel over the as they are flying around, grab them and throw back outdoors.
I set up a tub so the racoons can have their own pool party.
Oh NO! I’ve had skunks come by too, but no thanks in the house!!! Just this morning I woke up and could tell one had been around the yard somewhere, the whole indoor porch smelled pretty strong. Cute little guys though.
I used to have about 7 regular ferals coming around nightly, but down to three. Supposedly the coyotes have been more prominent this year, but have haven’t seen any myself. Just the kitties, masked bandits and occasional skunk. OH, and squirrels…which I find adorable, but do NOT like them around the house. Had one get in the walls couple years ago, that was FUN times
I did see a Turkey vulture the other day fairly close up, unfortunately not caught on the cameras.
I have a skunk that comes by once in a great while. My every night parade is cats, raccoons and of course the ever loyal possums. The possums never miss a night.
This is one of my better Pepe Le Pew captures.
Thanks for posting. You may enjoy this thread too.
Cool. How long does the powerpack last?
I have the v4 turning on at dusk and off at dawn and recording continuously. The IR is on and the spotlight is turned on by motion. I swap the batteries every other day. When I forget, they usually go 3 nights before the v4 goes offline.
The more activity there is, the more the light comes on.
