Got a ? on accounts

I got cam plus for 14.99 a year and also got cam lite for free. I got one cam on plus and the other cams on cam lite. if I buy more cams can I put the other on cam lite and or still get cam plus for 14.99 or do i have to upgrade.. I been a member since wyze started

yes, but not the OG cams. Lite does not work on those.

I just added an additional v3 camera to my Lite account a couple of months ago.

Oddly, CPL decided to stop giving me clips tonight.

I was just billed for it on Thursday, but I no longer see it in any of the locations where it’s been in the app.

All of my cams are cam pan v2 with a few old v1s and I’ve been paying for it since 2022.

Is this an outage or subtle weaning?

All of my cameras are still doing 12 second Cloud videos. In the App, have you gone into Accounts - Services and see if all of your cameras still have a checkbox in CPL?

Also, there was a recent App update 3.4.5.650 (April 16, 2025). It is possible features got moved around. I am still using App version 2.50.

That’s what I’m trying to explain, that’s no longer in the services area from what I can see.

They literally just billed for me on Thursday May 1st, and all of my events are now stills instead of clips. It’s almost like they revoked CPL without warning.

It’s no longer available in the pull-out at the top right that was there in the app before. No longer present. :thinking:

One more thing to try is log in to the Wyze web site.

Go to My Account - My Subscriptions - Access My Wyze Web App.

From there you should see if your Cam Plus Lite service is still listed. I can see my CPL and have Checkboxes on all of my cameras.

I did. That’s where I was able to view the billing history.

CPL is now gone.

Matt works with subscriptions at Wyze and hopefully can figure out why you are being billed for Cam Plus Lite but no longer see it in your account.

FYI, I did follow the AI response of support chat which directed me to going to my.wyze.com

Upon visiting that site, however, the cam plus lite Link provided returns a “page not found.”

My old credit card was still listed and I did take the time to update it with the replacement I recently received. So that should now be all current. It’ll be interesting to see if it just sorts itself out automagically, but I have my doubts.

EDIT-1: one thing I didn’t notice last night was that there was a minus sign preceding the billing amount for this month’s billing. Prior months billing had no minus sign. I take that to mean that the attempted payment wasn’t successful on 5/1. Hopefully, they’re lenient enough to allow my CPL to be restored after a brief payment method lapse.
