I’m generally not a fan of ongoing subscriptions—I’m drawn to the Wyze cameras, in part, because things like motion detection are included as a basic feature and I can own and keep my recordings locally on microSD—but something like this might tip the scale a little more in favor of a subscription. My preference, though, would be for it to include triggers initiated by Wyze’s Edge AI that’s included as a base feature in some of the newer camera models.
When I’ve created Wishlist topics[1][2], I’ve phrased it by thinking, “What do I want Wyze to do?” Considering that, I’d probably use something like “Integrate Wyze’s AI Detection with Google Home’s Automation Starters” for a title. I dunno if that’s saying the right thing or not, but it seems to encapsulate the spirit of the request, as I understand it.
Then again, my requests haven’t garnered many votes, so maybe I’m not doing it effectively.
