Hi. Does anyone know where the GIFs that are created that display in notifications after a video event is recorded are stored?
I assume the thumbnail images are stored on the Wyze servers like Cloud Event video is. Do your thumbnail images auto delete after 14 days?
Oh. Can anyone that actually works for Wyze confirm this? Yes, my thumbnail images that are shown in the events tab auto delete along with the video after 14 days just like everyone else’s. I’m talking about when you receive a notification that an event occured and you swipe down on your device to expand the notification and there is a preview picture that you can tap that plays a short gif of the video event. I was wondering if those are stored somewhere on the device.
to my knowledge they are not, I don’t believe it actually make a Gif file, its just a quick play though of the events trigger. but now that it is brought up I wonder if this could be easily done…
