I have an iPhone 13 mini and my spouse has a regular iPhone 13. I’ve have an issue where when accessing the live view on the Mini the image is frozen to the last image (usually of a vehicle passing in front of our home) but at the same time on my spouses phone the image is correct.
Any idea why this happens, (a couple of times a day)) but only on the mini.

With my iPhone 13 mini the very first recorded event of the day is frozen. Sometimes I can get it to play by constantly opening the closing the video. It’s really annoying and started several Wyze App updates ago. I also noticed that when opening the App it freezes for a few seconds. I’ve complained about these issues for a while now and Wyze has done nothing to fix them.
This is an issue on both the iPhone SE 2 (2020) and iPhone SE 3 (2022) running all recent versions of the Wyze app and iOS. It’s easy to get the image to freeze during live view, too, just by rotating the device.
Wyze iOS app is sadly the biggest reason I am considering switching away from this ecosystem. These bugs have been ongoing for years with no resolution, and a few like this are critical for basic trust in the system.
I know right?! Wyze would rather spend time pushing out more new products than fixing what they have, leaving customers in frustration with no resolution.
