When searching for forum topics and use the back button it takes me back to the home page and not my results. I lose my place and have to search all over again. On iOS Wyze app.

With event scheduling, is there a way to get notifications not just a specific time frame but also specific days? I have a wyze cam in my living room and set to notify me of sound/movement while at work and for the weekend each week have to turn off notifications so I’m not flooded with notifications. Problem is I forget sometimes to turn notifications back on for Monday and then defeats the purpose.

Could there be some way the forum posting rules could be changed so new people had to read some basic rules, like the community guidelines, and the breakdown of forums and where to post BEFORE they can post?

I find using a phone browser to be next to useless for using the forums. If at all possible, crank up that old clunky computer or outdated laptop, start a private session using Firefox and have at the forums. It’s like night and day. For a company that forces us to use our phones to do anything with the cameras, the forums are not phone friendly at all. (I guess unless you have a huge phone or a decent Ipad/tablet.) I bought $25 cameras cause I don’t have a lot of money for fancy electronics.

I very rarely ever use mobile device for the forum, it’s always PC for me

I use my iPad or my PC 95% of the time. Phones are just too small to manipulate.

The mobile experience has much to be desired, especially when replying in the forum. it is very buggy. I am using the brave browser, which is based off of chromium open source tech. Unsure if any of you have tried making a reply and accidentally hitting the down button and trying to get back and post, and it goes somewhere else entirely.
The PC based forum works great! Amazing even! lol. But yea, no problems experienced on the PC or Mac, just mobile.

Just curious. Is the Summarize This Topic function (in the footer of the original post of a topic) completely automatic? Or can it be modified for effectiveness by mods? And if it can be, is it often?

There are some parameters for Summarize that can be changed, but we have not modified any from the standard Discourse defaults. I know of no plans to do so.

Go to your Preferences > Notifications > Categories and add the categories you want under Watching First Post

Is there any way to have the forum email a notification anytime a part is made matching a keyword or phase? This would be helpful for not missing posts about something you’re particularly interested in.
