That’s a nice design I like it 
, I suggest you Get a Forstner Drill Bit for the 1" hole in door casing, Wrap some blue tape around it At the depth you want ,a Forstner Bit will give you a nice clean hole and the tape Will show you when you’re at the depth you need to be .
This is what I have on a couple of doors in the door edge , They are Quarter inch long by Quarter inch diameter rod Magnets , I ordered some more for the other doors I have .

The ender-3 printer I got for about $180, and I love it.
Add a raspberry pi for octopi software so you can use it remotely if you like.
I printed some outdoor sensor covers and they’re working great.
Why are the links not working? Tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safara, all failed.

one of these days, I’m going to make a lens mount for my wyze cam that i have behind glass, so that I can thread a CPL filter onto it to get rid of the annoying reflections… but have to design it first…

I love the idea! It’s just that it’s so permanent. I’m afraid of that level of commitment just yet.

It shouldn’t be permanent at all. The sensor is just sitting in the bracket. If for example Wyze makes and official water sensor you can simply slide it out and use it for something else. Maybe my deadbolt sensor

I am trying to make all my designs simple for the user with no need for soldering or anything technical. Also I don’t want to destroy any of the sensors so they would be able to be repurposed.

I didn’t mean your design is permanent. Drilling the holes in the door frame is what I was referring to. Your design however is very clean and out of sight when installed!
