My floodlight camera has recently started recording very short clips (not same length), waits a few seconds, and starts a new recording of the same pet. Each separate recording triggers a notification. I routinely have 40+ notifications. Is there a setting that would prevent this?
Sounds like it may be sensitivity related? It thinks the motion has stopped long enough to end the event, but then the object moves again and it logs a new one. Maybe turning up the sensitivity a bit would help?
If that’s one of the ones that uses PIR detection it could be that the sensor lens is dirty or something too. I can’t recall what method that one uses for detecting motion.
