On a daily basis I have to tell Wyze that what they tagged in my recordings is incorrect. I’ve been doing this for years now and it’s still not gotten better. Just today, it put a motion square around people walking by but tagged the video as a vehicle, that vehicle was a parked truck off to the right of the frame. I don’t care about parked vehicles, only things that move makes sense for a security camera.
It also rarely tags pets walking with people, but will tag the people (but not the pets), if there are no parked vehicles.
I hear you. I got three notifications alerts the other night saying person detected in back yard. I open the live view and all I see is a spider’s web dancing in front of the camera.
I had something similar a few weeks ago when the Bulb Cam on my deck reported “Person Detected” well after midnight. I happened to be awake to see it and opened live view to find a web strand hanging down over the front of the Cam with some water droplets on it and blowing in the breeze.
Mine is terrible, everything is tagged as a vehicle, because there is a car parked on the drive. And mostly the movement detected is a plant or rain. The tagging is useless.
