Thermostat says it’s offline for some users even though it shows as connected to the network on the router (even with the most recent firmware 1.2.7)

Well, I guess it’s a bust. First day on the new firmware and it’s now offline again. It’s still on the network as before, Just not talking to the Wyze servers. Ping times (latency) is pretty low with 0% failures unlike before. I’m thinking at this point would be to wire the thermostat to an external 24v transformer instead of it pulling power from the HVAC unit, Plug that transformer into a Wyze smart socket so it can then be remote power cycled. Seems like a lot of work but not sure what other…
