Feature Request - ADA compliant Larger fonts / higher contrast colors

Please support iOS font sizes and use darker color fonts for people with low vision. This goes for the forum as well. Thanks!

on the forum at least you are able to change the color layout.

step one, click on your profile picture on the top right.
when you click on where the yellow arrow is , you get a drop down menu. from that menu click on preferences like so
color

once on the preferences page, verified by it being highlighted, ( see #1 in the pic)
go to the bottom of the menu on the left side and choose interface. #2

on the middle options of the page, choose the theme as dark #3 ( notice that you can also adjust the font size on the forum too, right under the theme option)

as far as the forum goes, I find this much easier to read.

and I believe they were working on a dark mode for the app as well.

Welcome to the community, @Cousinisaac. There are already Wishlist topics for what you are requesting in the app.

Search Wishlist (enter your search word/s after Wishlist in the search box)
Search Roadmap (enter your search word/s after #roadmap in the search box)

Please read through How to Use the Wishlist and How to Read the Roadmap.

Do note, however, that this will change the layout/organization of the forum.

yes, but sadly that would be a very intricate description of different changes so I left all of those out :innocent:

Yes, many people want a more readable app, so why does the developer seem to be actively ignoring the concept? I’d rather have a simple font change than deck my deadbolts with Wyze Locks and invite people to hack my home.

Weak readability takes usability down to a 6 out of 10 for me (over 50 eyes).

I hear you. I have over 50 eyes as well. Both of these following topics are being researched, so they are not being ignored. It’s just unknown if, or when, Wyze may start testing them.

The current colors fail web accessibility color contrast tests. Bad practice on the website (and the website devs should know this!!) but in the mobile app it’s VERY hard to read, even to see whether the cam is on or off.
Per webaim.org the pale sea green fails every level:

I’m with others here – please do change this!
