Failed Firmware Update-Cameras Offline

I saw the prompt to update the firmware and initiated the update cycle. The result was that six of eleven cameras went offline. The error code was unable to contact network / check WiFi connection. The WiFi is, of course, just fine and not the problem. The cameras could not be turned off from the app and unplugging / plugging did not help.

I deleted one camera and did a new setup. This fixed the issue. However, removing the five remaining cameras from their various perches and doing new setusps will be very inconvenient.

Is there an easier workaround that will address this problem?

You should not have to remove the cameras, that is a given. Have you tried to clear Cache?

Account > App Settings

Go to the Bottom and click on Clear to the right of the Cache line. Then Restart your phone.

In the future try updating firmware one camera at a time and see if things go better. I have five v3 cameras and update one at a time.

It does take more time but have experienced less issues.

I do it one camera at a time spaced a day between each update, just in case
