I bought this camera with the intention of making time lapse videos. Im not really clear on why the time lapse videos are so large but downloading via wifi seems problematic on my phone because it takes so long it seems to timeout for some reason. And I dont want to move the camera/take out the SD card between takes because I plan on stitching together various time lapse videos. Is there some trick to downloading via usb connection or is that just not possible?
The USB cords included with the cameras are power-only (at least they’re supposed to be). I’m also pretty sure there’s no way to download video using a regular power/data cord. I haven’t tested this, but I may need to now that you’ve brought it up.
That seems like a really odd design. It would be a really nice feature to add.
