I discovered that my Wyze won’t “pan” 360 degrees. after some review, i discovered that the bolt holding the base to the bracket was about 1/16th of an inch too long. Maybe a thin washer or shorter bolt would easily solve the issue. i am now happy that it is working as it should. Hope this helps others with same problem.

The pan cams don’t do a true 360 degree rotations, they do stop just before a full rotation. Are you saying your pan now rotate beyond 360degrees? Any photos of what you saw? Which pan camera do you have and when did you buy it?
You’re right about the camera not doing a “full” 360 degrees – my camera wasn’t even doing more than a 45 degree in either direction before it stopped. It stopped because the bolt holding the base to the bracket was just a bit too long and the bolt prevented the camera from turning as it should. By un-screwing the bolt very slightly (less than 1/8 of a turn), the rotation to an “almost 360 degrees was working fine. Adding a thin washer to this bolt would accomplish the same result.
Hope this helps.

Gotcha. Still, what pan cam did this occur on? I would contact Support and let them know your experience so they can let the proper folks know about the potential defect or assembly issue.
the “too Long of a bolt” issue was on the Pan Cam V3.
You are correct that the camera pan doesn’t go 360 degrees, but my camera wasn’t even “panning” 45 degrees. Loosening the bolt holding the base to the bracket solved the issue. Also, adding a thin washer to the bolt would probably work as well.
