Hi I have 8 Wyze cameras Hooked up.When I turn the audio on I receive this static almost sounding like a ham radio frequency. I here it on all cameras all the time. Has anyone else experienced this. Thanks
You could have a faulty device somewhere nearby emitting RF.
This is a Tesla coil.
When I turn it on upstairs, speakers in the basement that aren’t connected to anything make a loud hum that I can hear upstairs.
Since it is happening to all your cameras, that rules out faulty cameras.
I get static with my outdoor v2 cam all the time. Not sure if it’s the distance from the base or not. I seen to remember getting it with the camera a few feet from the base in a totally different location. It’s a mystery! But I just deal with it.
One of my v3 cameras has had a scratchy noise for months.
What I have tried :
Restart through the app
Remove power from the camera and reconnect
Swapped wall wart and USB cable from a non-staticky v3
Swapped SD cards with one from a non-staticky v3
Relocated the v3 from the top of the kitchen refrigerator to the basement hallway.
Removed the v3 from the app and added it back.
The static has not changed a bit.
i get this static on many of my wyze cams as well.
I have similar noise on several Wyze cams … there is no similar noise at these cams
This is Wyze cam v3
i do not hear static yet but can sometimes hear people talking on phones feets away in other room
I hear it on a couple of v2s - one medium old and one newly deployed.
I hear frogs on mine
Actually the microphone is ridiculously directional, obviously not by design and more by mistake I would guess…
Audio so Good you can hear a leaf drop on a V3
