I need to change the color of my Cam Pan Duo, I needed it to be black and I haven’t seen any rumblings of that colorway being released. I’m fairly comfortable painting plastics and have a decent paint booth for it. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to disassemble the Cam Pan Duo to be able to paint beneath the panning arm. I would get a much more durable paint job if I could separate the two cameras and the arm and paint all sides of each without the obstructions present when assembled. I’m not overly concerned with losing the water resistance rating, as it will be under an eave (still outside but fairly dry location). Has anyone disassembled one of these cameras to lend me a tip of how to get in?
