Different Notification Sound for EACH Individual Wyze Device AND type of Motion\AI - Workaround for Android Only - Doesn't work for iPhone

You will need to turn off the sound for the WyzeMesage Notification Channel(s) in the Android OS Notifications Settings. It is not the same for all OS versions or brand OS builds, so you may have to look in a different path, but it should be there if you look for it.

You can’t shut off the notification sound from within the Wyze App. Currently, that only allows for Wyze Sound provided by the app or OS System Default provided by the Android settings.

Here is how I do it:

Others go thru Settings, Apps & Notifications, Wyze App, Notifications to find the two WyzeMessage channels

MacroDroid will only show the sounds in the list that have been saved to the “Notifications” folder on your device. That is the default OS directory for notification sounds. To get your sounds to show in the list, you will need to move them to the Notifications folder on your device.

Alternatively, you can select the “choose file” to launch the Android File Browser and go get the file.

The usual default download location for downloads from the internet is the “downloads” folder on your device. However, if you were using the Zedge app, it may well be downloading the file to a Zedge folder. :man_shrugging:
