Did I just waste $66?

Google Play says that my Android camera is not compatible with the Wyze App, and it seems that I can not use the camera without giving my video to the Wyze corporation to free and cn not control who they give my data to.

The camera is a brick, no way to make the thing record, no way to retrieve anything if I could get it to record, the company that designed this thing employs people who have never taken a design class or human interface development class.

Now I’m stuck with a white brick that does not do what the advertising claims it does, it goes straight from the box it was shipped in right in to the trash, that’s $66 wasted.

Which device are you trying to install the Wyze app on?

What cameras?

Welcome to the forums!

Is that supposed to read, “google play says that my Android tablet or phone is not compatible with the Wyze app”?? What device are you trying to run the app on? Would love to help troubleshoot but we need specifics, like what device and type along with it’s is version your trying to use the app on, camera version you bought, etc. Or are you really trying to use a non Wyze camera with the Wyze app?

@Demotclese

I get the “Google Play says that my Android camera is not compatible with the Wyze App” when I try to install it on my Chromebook. So it could be that.

However, as asked above, can you provide additional information:

  1. What are you trying to install the App on?
  2. What Model Camera are you trying to connect?

Any additional information and detail would help out.

thanks
