I have a Android cellphone and it showing This app won’t work on your device I tried seven different Android cellphone
Welcome to the Forum, @waqarmohammad37!
You’re likely to get more assistance if you can provide more details, such as
- what phone model(s) you’re using
- what Android version(s) you’re using
- what app version(s) you’re trying to install
- how you’re trying to install the app
- what’s generating the error message
- etc.
Without knowing more about your specific situation, I’d guess that you’re probably trying to install the current v3x production Wyze app—which requires a 64-bit version of Android—on a device that’s running only a 32-bit version of the operating system. That’s merely a guess, though. More detail about your problem is needed.
In order to use the 3.x app you must have a 64 bit capable phone and Android version.
It is possible to load the 2.5 app here which supports older 32 bit phones - but you may need to give permission to load “unofficial” apps. It is the official app but when you load them this way your phone blocks it by default.
After loading it, go into play store and update, and you’ll get the latest/final version of the 2.5 app. There is no guarantee as to how long it will be supported but it is still working on my old spare phone.
I am using Motorola g pure and I am using play store to download WYZ Camera it showing This app won’t work on your device. I used seven different Android cellphone. . It only works on iphone
That answers one question. The descriptions and specifications I’m seeing online indicate that it’s a budget/entry-level/lower-end phone, which—combined with its age—means that it’s likely running a 32-bit Android version, so Google Play Store won’t install the current Wyze app to it. The Motorola phone I use runs a near-stock version of Android, which doesn’t make obvious to the user whether the OS is 32- or 64-bit, but you could use a third-party tool (AIDA64 is one) to confirm whether or not that’s your issue. Otherwise, if you want to run the Wyze app on that phone, then your best option is likely to get a v2.50x APK from another source, as @dave27 suggested.
Google is pushing app makers to go pure 64 bit. I believe Android 15 and up (may have that wrong but it is recent) is purely 64 bit so they’re basically not allowing new apps or major revisions to support 32 bit anymore.
WYZ Camera is NOT a Wyze app though, the only one you want is the one pictured below. If that is the one saying not compatible, your only option (other than getting a new phone) is to use the 2.5 app that I linked to previously.
