The data usage on my 2 cams is about 1g per day on each because they’re uploading so much. Is there any way to restrict this?
I live in Sri Lanka where data is very expensive!
Tap the HD button and change to SD. That should reduce data usage without affecting the quality very much.
Another option is to turn down the sensitivity for alerts. The latest version of the app and firmware allow setting sensitivity with a 1-100 slider instead of just L/M/H.
Finally, you can install a microSD card in the camera and record within the camera. If you review those recordings when connected to the same local network, you will not be using any ISP data.
