Convert to hub based?

Need some guidance, please.

I have a bajillion Wyze products at two homes. At one, I have the old Wyze door sensors which piggy back on my Wyze Pan Cam. Lately, one has been going stupid on a regular basis despite resets, camera power cycles, new batteries, etc.

I’m considering moving to a Wyze hub-based system, so I can also use temp monitors and leak alarms. However, I don’t want remote monitoring.

Can one use the hub system with door, temp and leak sensors without paying for monthly monitoring?

Yes. I don’t use many Wyze sensors, but they do work without monitoring, depending on what you want to do. I use mine for automations (solely motion sensors at this time.)

As Wild Bi;; said, all versions of the Wyze sensors can be switched over to the Wyze Hub. I switched mine over a few years back. I no longer have a monitoring subscription and the work fine.

I think you will have to reset them one at a time to move them to the new hub.
