I think they did since MFP, the possum and another one of MFP’s freeloader cat friends left no trace of the turkey I put out for them to snack on.

MFP was the first in line. He arrived 4 minutes after I put it out. This is a small version from one of 84 MFP videos having dinner, There were a lot of 4 and 5 minute videos. At least he washed his paws after dinner. His friend showed up later for leftovers. Another MFP employee. [CF]

Thanks. Costco had a grand opening of a new store about 20 miles from me the other day. On the news they said many people were purchasing High Dollar booze, Pappy Van Winkle and some other bottle that was about $2000.00. I think it was a one time sale. I have a Costco 2 miles from me and have never seen any sale like that.

It’s kind of all about the game. I don’t go looking on the internet, just go into random LQs from time to time and get my usual and ask for the harder to find. Well tonight I hit paydirt.

I have one of those little ice makers.

It makes “The good ice”. Crunchy pebbles.

I personally don’t care for them and rather cubes or metal cubes. But the family loves it.

Same here. My daughter to the road borrowed it for a family get-together. She said the same thing about liking to chew the ice. Only thimg is you can’t save the ice in a freezer because it will freeze into a big clump.

I don’t really get that, either. I recall hearing or reading that it’s supposed to “open” the Scotch (or something to that effect), whatever that means, but I prefer it either neat or with ice (probably also sacrilege). The thing I like about ice is how the melting kind of gives the drink a mellow taper, so it starts off strong but then kind of trails off nicely.
