Change bulb brightness on a schedule

I just recently added 4 wyze bulb colors to my bathroom vanity. I set up a schedule so that between 11 pm and 6 am, The problem is, that schedule only works if the light is on at 11pm when the schedule starts.

Is there a way to set it up so that anytime the light turns on during that time it changes brightness?

I believe you can do a couple of items. To provide a valid solution, how are the lights triggered - Motion Sensor?

  1. You can setup a Trigger Rule which says, when bathroom lights go on, set the Brightness to x via the slider, but only if it is between a certain time. If it is between another time, set the brightness to x.

  2. When Motion is sensed between certain times, Turn on Bathroom lights and set the brightness to X. You can even set the color.

Can you provide what your current rule(s) look like?

Thanks for the response! And the warm welcome!

They are currently on a standard light switch (waiting for my wyze switches).

Attached is my current rule.

Mayne I’m not setting up the rule correctly? I used a schedule but I think I need to change it to a device trigger.

I tested it over my lunch hour. It appears as though you can do it. I created a trigger rule so that when the first light turns on, they all go to 1%.

The problem here is there is a delay from the time the light switches on until the time it changes it to 1%. I didn’t time it but I’m guessing it is around 15 seconds. Which, in the middle of the night, is a long time. Is there a better way to set this up?
