This squirrel came right up to the open (except for a magnetic screen door) sliding door. One of our cats took offense to the blatant trespassing!

I had a cat that her and the squirrels would take turns chasing each other around , looked to me like they were just playing

Newport chased one squirrel up a tree. She then got scared of the height and held onto a branch with a bear hug. The squirrel literally ran over her to get away. Eventually I had to borrow a ladder to get to her and bring her down. His fur was so puffed up she looked 3 times her normal size for a day!

I suspect so. Her previous people were menthol smokers. They asked us to watch her for a couple weeks while they moved. That was 4 years ago. She does not seem to miss the cigarettes, or them. Kinda of figure somewhere in the last 4 years we became her people.

We have a vortex on our property that draws a human to hunker. A
cat often joins me as I bask.
Saunter up slowly and flop. They really get the rhythm. :-)
