I recently added 2 wyze og cameras with sd cards. I am unable to view a short video of the motion detected. It wants me to subscribe for $2.99 a month to view them. What good is having the sd card?
How are you trying to view the video?
I’m guessing it might be from a notification or something in the timeline on the Events tab, in which case tapping the regular Play button will prompt you to subscribe. What you likely want to do is find the icon on that screen with a label of Playback or SD Card and tap that to initiate playback of your microSD card recording. You may need to tap the screen in order to make the microSD card option visible.
Alternatively, you can navigate in the app directly to the camera’s Live Stream screen, where you should see the RECENT EVENTS below that and play the event from there.
On the Live Stream screen you can also tap the SD Card control in the strip below the live view pane, and that will show you the microSD card recording timeline. If you have microSD recording set for Continuous recording, then this view will show a solid green stripe on the right side of the timeline that you can scroll vertically; if you’re recording Events Only, then this green stripe will be interrupted.
In that timeline view, there should be little green icons that make it easy to find recorded events, but they’re missing in recent app versions for Cam OG and Cam OG Telephoto, likely due to a bug. Hopefully those will return at some point.
